A unique research continuum

The CRCHUM is Quebec’s only hospital-based research centre that incorporates the entire research continuum: basic research, clinical research and population health research.

As such, the CRCHUM’s research activities range from the population to the laboratory and clinical sciences and epidemiology, with a strong emphasis on knowledge and innovation transfer.

Le CRCHUM has a critical mass of 360 researchers enabling it to develop interdisciplinary research in a variety of areas. Its researchers are responsible for an impressive scientific output (nearly 2000 publications in the past fours, with an average annual increase of 5%) and are funded by peer-reviewed granting agencies.
