Research interests
Longitudinal studies of youth cohorts, particularly with regard to the acquisition of cigarette smoking and nicotine dependence among children and adolescents; studies in schools; analysis of longitudinal data; validation of methods for measuring smoking, diet, insulin resistance, obesity and physical activity among youth; evaluation of public health interventions and policies.

Director of an interdisciplinary team : “Strengthening the links between research, practice and public policy to reduce the burden of smoking.” This team includes over 30 researchers and students specialized in tobacco control research, and encompassing research ranging from genetics to public policy.
